All you need is a laptop, a mobile device, and an app idea you care about — plus plenty of patience and curiosity.

No technical background is required. We’ll start from the fundamentals and build up step by step as the course progresses.

Your learning strategy depends on how technically strong you already are. But I recommend watching Modules 1-3 first. Then create 2-3 practice apps to familiarise yourself with the process. Then move on to Module 4.

This course is made for anyone who considers themselves to be non-technical. You could be a designer, product manager or even a solo entrepreneur.

All you need is a well thought out idea.

Systems design thinking, understanding data, and basic technical knowledge are three skills designers typically develop only when working within a mature product company.

Building your own product, forces you to think with a builder's mindset and learn all three—on your own.

Yes. This course is made for people who have no coding experience, just like me. The goal is to build high quality software without writing a single line of code.

While this course focuses solely on building mobile apps, all the skills and concepts you learn can easily be applied to build any digital product you want.

However I do have plans of introducing a module for building web-apps in the future.

You can build any app as long as you have a fair idea of the technologies you need, how systems will talk to each other and how data will move around.

If not, focus on starting with extremely simple apps and slowly build your technical knowledge, which you'll learn in the course.

Once you enroll, you can join a community group where you can share your progress, questions, learnings and grow with everyone else.

When learning a new skill, the last thing you want is to be slowed down or demotivated by poor output quality or limited flexibility.

Cursor is currently the leading software building platform for anyone starting out.

It gives you the maximum freedom and tools to learn. Investing in the right tool helps you learn the right way—without unnecessary frustration.

Cursor is extremely generous with its price-to-value ratio. I highly recommend the $20 Pro plan which gives you $20 worth of usage of all AI models.

Once that’s used up, you'll have a generous amount of free usage in their 'Auto' mode — where the appropriate model is chosen for you.

If you're familar with these tools, then you can continue using them. You can switch to Cursor if you feel you need to.

Else if you're unsure and have no strong preference, I highly recommend starting with Cursor.

Most of these aren't optimised to build mobile apps and struggle with scale and complexity. They don't offer AI model selection and often hide everything behind the scenes, limiting control and transparency.

Cursor forces you to understand just enough code, and how systems communicate with each other which is the only way to learn the skills.

No additional cost to test your app on simulators or physical devices (unless you need TestFlight).

If and when you decide to publish your app to TestFlight, the App Store, or the Play Store, you’ll need a paid developer account — $99 per year for Apple, and a one-time $25 fee for Google.

I've designed the course such that, no matter the laptop and mobile device you own, you can build an app for at least one OS platform.

You won't have to compromise on the functionality, design or the experience of your app.

Absolutely! However to get paying customers, you need to build an app that solves a problem for a specific set of users who are willing to pay for it.

Yes. You can watch all the videos of Module 1 for free. It covers the most fundamental topics of building apps.

Yes. Even though you can complete the entire course with the content available today, I’ll continue updating it with new topics and concepts that are relevant to this particular course.
